She was predeceased by: her son Eddie Thomas; and her brothers, Shirl and Sherman Ward. She is survived by: her spouse Ivory Buford Thomas; her children, Rita Maupin (Tim) of Urbana and Michael Thomas (Barbara) of Pekin; her grandchildren, Andrea Davis (John), Greg Thomas (Amber), Jeff Thomas (Anja), Benjamin Crane (Jessica), Bethany Kleckner (Aaron) and Nate Thomas (Jessica); and her great grandchildren, Frank, Jade, Luke, McKinley, Dylan, Nathan, Hannah, Owen, Ally, Savannah, Lena, Logan, Lauren and Grant.
