She was predeceased by : her parents, Francis Durflinger and Millo Durflinger (Bowman). She is survived by : her spouse Merrill William Metzger; her children, Stephenie Stone (Paul), Rachel Davis (Kevin), Ed Jatkowski, Jr. and Johnnie Miller (Spycie); her siblings, Gary Siebenthal (Karen) and Marla Griffith; and her godson Ian Metz. She is also survived by seven great-great-nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Christian Church of Peoria, OSF Hospice, or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
