It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Kay Allgaier-Hay of Peoria, Illinois, born in Peru, Illinois, who passed away on November 25, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Emil Olson; her husband Edward Hay Sr.; and her son Steven Allgaier. She is survived by: her children, Suzanne Buntrock (John) of Woodridge and Edward H. Hay Jr. (Rebecca); her grandchildren, Ashley Buntrock of Naperville, Jonathan Hay (Susan), David Hay and Jennifer Hay; her great grandchildren, Alexander and Ethan; her brothers, John Olson (Janice) and Joseph Olson (Linda); and her sisters-in-law, Evelyn Essert and Debra Rimi. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church.
