She was predeceased by: her parents, Montague Jackson and Walter Sommerville; and her siblings, Gloria, Barbara, Annie, Pearl, Walter Jr. and Cardell.
She is survived by: her children, Katrina Thomas (Michael) of New York, Venessa Motley of Illinois, Dave Taylor (Annette) of North Carolina, Marisa Taylor of Georgia and Darrell Taylor (Michelle) of Illinois; her sisters, Pamela, Maxine and Ethel; and her grandchildren, LaMaur, McKell, Terrance, Lanesha, John, Jalesha, Aleshia, Britni, Bianca, Dave Jr., Chaz, Anastasia, Achlei, Britnee, Breeana, Taj, Desmond, Brooklyn, Darrien and Darrell Jr.. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
