He was predeceased by: his parents, Joel T. Harris and Tena Harris (Baker); and his wife Darlene E. Kennedy. He is survived by: his daughter Janice Little (Larry) of Peoria; his grandson Christopher Little of Peoria; and his nephews, Col. Samuel Harris of Weatherford, Richard Harris of Wichita and Stephen Sherrick of St. Louis, Missouri..
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Parkview Cemetery (2021 N University St, Peoria, IL 61604).
Memorials may be made in Walt's name to Grace Presbyterian Church or to the American Heart Association.
