He was predeceased by: his mother Edna Bettenhausen (Holz). He is survived by: his father Lawrence Bettenhausen; and his brother Ed Bettenhausen.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital would be greatly appreciated.
