He was predeceased by: his parents, James Grotti and Lillian Grotti (Campbell); and his brother James "Butch" Grotti Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Dodie L. Tipps (Elgin); his daughter Michelle Grotti (Zac Kwiatek) of Peru; his stepdaughter Terri Combs (Mick) of Oglesby; his stepgranddaughters, Sienna and Gianna; and his siblings, Karon Mini (Ron) of Peru, LuAnn Wood of Seatonville and Bill Grotti of Seatonville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
