With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Merle J. Gascoyne in Peru, Illinois, who passed away on July 3, 2020 at the age of 98. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Merle J. Gascoyne to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas Gascoyne and Elizabeth Gascoyne (Gaull); his wife Mildred "Millie" Flowers; and his grandson Bradyn Barroso. He is survived by : his daughters, Joanie George (Chuck) of Peru and Nancy Barroso (Louie) of Peru. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter.

Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the Illinois Veterans Home, LaSalle.
