He is survived by: his parents, Cecil Lovdahl and Kay Lovdahl (Irey); his children, Aaron Lovdahl (Audrey) of Bettendorf, Alex Lovdahl (Sammi) of Springfield, Illinois and Allison Lovdahl of Springfield, Illinois; the mother of his children Mary Sue Gillen of Petersburg, Illinois.; his grandchildren, George Lovdahl and Eleanor Lovdahl; his brothers, Mark Lovdahl (Kim) of Twinsburg and Curt Lovdahl (Wendy) of Monmouth, Illinois; and his close friend Shesna Huff of Petersburg. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hurley Funeral Home - Petersburg (122 W Douglas St, Petersburg, IL 62675). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
