It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald W. McCormick of Philo, Illinois, born in Macomb, Illinois, who passed away on February 23, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude McCormick and Cora Beryl McCormick (Vail); and his grandson Ryan Terven. He is survived by: his children, Deborah Terven (Phillip) of Monticello and David W. McCormick of Urbana; his grandchildren, Lindsey Dean, Cory Terven, Joshua McCormick and Mindi Short; and his siblings, Rodney McCormick, Brian McCormick, Sue Heiser, Carol Oare and Anita McCormick. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
