She was predeceased by : her parents, Albert Poiter and Rose Poiter (Seibert); her husband Noah Wayne Carter; her niece Peggy Dooley; her son-in-law Randy Schrader; and her sister-in-law Margie Poiter.
She is survived by : her children, Aaron Carter (Karen) of Pinckneyville, IL, Cindy Konkel (Aaron), Kathy Hagene (Roger) of Pinckneyville, IL and Karen Winter (Shane) of Pinckneyville, IL; her grandchildren, Kevin Schrader (Angie), Natalie Stine (Dan), Nathan Hagene, Brooke Burroughs (Andy), Jared Hagene (Kristina), Josh Hagene (Chelsie), Lyle Winter (Emmalee), Lauren Piper (Dax), Lindsey Queen (Hunter), Lucas Carter (Shaylie) and Noah Carter; and her brothers, R. Dale Poiter of Carbondale, IL and Maurice Poiter (Sheila) of Granite City, IL.. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren.
