It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doris Marie Smith of Pinckneyville, Illinois, who passed away on September 30, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William J. Ruffino and Anna Marie Ruffino (Stern); her husband Robert Dean "Smitty" Smith; her children, John Dean Smith and Lisa Marie Bathon; and her brother Thomas Ruffino.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tammica Carrie Smith of Pinckneyville, IL and Marsha Ann Bathon (William) of Pinckneyville, IL; and her grandchildren, Joshua Bathon (Mandy), Carianna Denton (David), Dathan Bathon (Amber), Shaydn Bathon, Devon Bathon (Katlynn), Jaden Bathon, Curtis Smith, Brittany Smith, Cody Smith (Hailey), Tabetha Smith and Zoey Smith. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
