He was predeceased by : his parents, Earl Dean and Marie Crain, Sr. (Beck); and his sister Cynthia Szarek. He is survived by : his former life partner Jennifer Blythe; his wife Catherine Jane Keene (McLain); his daughter Missy Kellerman (Barry) of Pinckneyville; his stepsons, Timothy Keene (Cynthia) of Petaluma, CA and Patrick Keene (Karyn) of Clermont, FL; his granddaughters, Kathleen White, Emily White, Sophia Keene and Samantha Keene; and his sister Barbara Davidson (Jerry) of Belleville, IL..

Friends may make memorials to St. Bruno School Endowment Fund, Sacred Heart Cemetery or Tunnel to Towers Foundation and will be accepted at the funeral home.
