He was predeceased by : his parents, William Dane and Jeanette Shillinger (Dudley); his stepfather Dr. John F. Scudder; his brothers-in-law, Dr. Gary Clark and Randal Saltzman; and his friend John Filipsic.
He is survived by : his wife Mary Ann Shillinger of Pinckneyville, IL; his children, Sara Amos (Greg) of Edinburg, IL and Jeff Shillinger (Elizabeth) of Sherrard, IL; his grandchildren, Kennedy, Kiera Shillinger, Dane and Chance Amos; his siblings, Carol Clark of Lakeway, TX, Suzanne Saltzman of Mesquite, NV, Sarah Veneziano of Port Orange, FL and John Scudder (Ava) of Mesquite, NV; and his friends, Shirley Filipsic and Jan Scarborough. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or First United Presbyterian Church Deacon's Fund.
