Woolsey of Pinckneyville, Illinois, born in Du Quoin, Illinois, who passed away on August 7, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Barney Woolsey and Beulah Woolsey (Wright); his siblings, Thelma Terry, Juanita Perry, Margie Provart, Eileen Todd, Jim Woolsey and Garry Woolsey; his grandson Luke Acuff; and his parents-in-law, Wayne and Doris McDonnough.
He is survived by: his former wife Charlotte Acuff (Caraker); his wife Linda McDonnough; his children, Mark Acuff (Derisha) of Antioch, IL, Chris Woolsey (Morgan) of Skiatook, OK and Melissa Bowen (Jerry Leonard); his sister Donna Adams of Carterville, IL; his grandchildren, Eric Acuff, Chris Acuff, Dax Woolsey, Anna Woolsey, Emma Bowen and Ethan Bowen; and his great grandchildren, Evan Acuff, Eli Acuff and Alaya Acuff. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Friends may make memorials to the Old Du Quoin Baptist Church or Multiple Sclerosis Foundation in memory of Jerry's mother-in-law- Doris McDonnough and will be accepted at the funeral home.
