It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim D. Silbe of Pinckneyville, Illinois, who passed away on August 7, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jim D. Silbe to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Silbe and Gladys Silbe (McClurken); and his siblings, Billy, Marty Silbe and Dorothy Weatherford.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Silbe of Pinckneyville, IL; his children, Brett Silbe (Kelly) of Red Bud, IL, Jason Silbe of Pinckneyville, IL and Stacey Harsy (David) of DuQuoin, IL; his grandchildren, Caleb Harsy, Melaina Hess (Kyle), Madelyn Harsy, Luke Silbe, Jesse Silbe and Kaley Silbe; his great grandchildren, Mila Hess and Kylaina Hess; and his pet Blaze.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Et Pyatt Funeral Home - Pinckneyville (309 S Main St, Pinckneyville, IL 62274). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 12:00 PM.
Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
