It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marilyn Jo Roberts of Pinckneyville, Illinois, born in Mound City, Illinois, who passed away on September 8, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Abner Alexander and Mary Elizabeth Batson (Huckleberry); her husband Milton Leo Roberts, Sr.; her children, Janet Kim and Milton Leo Roberts, Jr.; her grandson William Joshua Kim; her siblings, Phyllis Gray, Dave Batson and Bob Batson; and her great-niece Caitlyn Finney.
She is survived by: her sibling's children, Jeannine Finney of Pinckneyville, IL, John Batson (Cassie) of Bardstown, KY and Milton; her sister-in-law Donna Batson; her adoptive parent Myung Kim; and her grandchildren, Susan, Katie and Tony. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and Cousins.
