He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry D. Niemeyer and Elda C. Niemeyer (Eggemeyer); his son Allen Dale; his brother Ronald; and his brothers-in-law, Howard Glenn and Darvin Prange.
He is survived by: his grandson David Allen Niemeyer of Pinckneyville, IL; his great grandchild Oakley Niemeyer; and his siblings, Roselee Glenn of Millstadt, IL, Anneita Prange of Campbell Hill, IL and David Niemeyer (Diane) of Steeleville, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
