It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roger Lee Kuhnert of Pinckneyville, Illinois, who passed away on October 1, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Robert and Goldie Esther Kuhnert (Magerkurth); his brothers, Virgil Kuhnert and Alen Kuhnert; and his nephew Kraig Kuhnert.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Elaine Roethe; his sister Gloria Kuhnert-Conroy of Pinckneyville; and his sibling's children, Kelli Chmielewski (Leon) of Pinckneyville, Krista Strait (Jeff) of Alton, IL, Joanna Weaver (Shane) of Virginia, Brett Kuhnert of Tennessee and Aaron Kuhnert (Courtney) of Ohio. He is also survived by numerous great nieces, great nephews, great great nieces and great great nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Mueller Hill Cemetery.
Friends may make memorials to the donor's choice and will be accepted at the funeral home.
