With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth Gus Perry (Pittsburg, Illinois), born in Goreville, Illinois, who passed away on August 22, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Gus Lee and Velma Vertie Perry (Thornton); his grandchildren, Thomas Eron Smith, Jessica Dianne Perry, Ashley Nichole Perry and Jonathan Gus King; and his siblings, Genevie Hancock, Fronie Wilson, Lorene Jolly, Lois Dean Billingsley, Virgie Billingsley, Thelma Marcella Perry, Ernest Perry and Baby Boy Perry.
He is survived by : his wife Alma Lee Perry of Pittsburg, IL; his children, Joyce L. Smith (Steve) of Thompsonville, IL, Deanna G. Davis (Gerald H.) of Marion, Oral L. Perry (Sherry L.) of Pittsburg, IL, Alan K. Perry (Alita K.) of Ramsey, IL, Newton G. "Dusty" Perry of Carrier Mills, IL, Cheryl Mathis (Joseph) of Pittsburg, IL, Ricky J. Perry (Donna L.) of Taylor, MI, Corey L. Perry (Amy L.) of Pittsburg, IL, Rena L. Bell of Nokomis, IL and Celestia N. Marrs (Ryan) of Johnston City, IL; his siblings, John L. Perry (Marilyn) of Marion, Wilma F. Stroud of Goreville, IL and June Deere (Frank) of Mattoon, IL; and his sister-in-law Wilma Burroughs of Marion. He is also survived by twenty five grandchildren, a large host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
