It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Francis Jacobs (Pomona, Illinois), born in Highland Park, Illinois, who passed away on August 18, 2019, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. James A. and Ruth V. Jacobs (Peddle). He is survived by: his siblings, Karen Summerville of Pensacola, FL., Theresa (Joe LoBue), Joan Jacobs Martin (Joanie) of Murphysboro, Bernard (Dorothy Jacobs), Dr. Paul (Rhoda Jacobs), Greg (Terri Jacobs), James P. Jacobs of Austin, TX and Thomas (Mellada Jacobs); and his close friend Irene Carignan. He is also survived by numerous Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, Nephews and Great-Great Nieces and Nephews and many good friends.
