He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Peters (Schultz) and Stewart Peters. He is survived by: his nephews, John Dashney (Pat) and Donald Dashney; his great-nieces, Madeline Dashney, Nicole Cox (Chris) and Corin Shasteen (David); and his sister Myrna Dashney. He is also survived by numerous great great nieces and a great-great nephew.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Anderson Funeral Home (218 W Hurlbut Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008).
In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the North Boone Fire Department District 3.
