It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas M Bence of Princeton, Illinois, who passed away on December 20, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Bence and Lena Bence (Storms); and his significant other Rosalie Bence. He is survived by: his wife Rosalie Shofner; his friends, Mark and Liz Johnson; his sister-in-law Rita Wolf; and his friends, Pam Steelman and Ray Fundel. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
