It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Specht of Princeton, Illinois, born in Prophetstown, Illinois, who passed away on August 4, 2020, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Brown and Hannah Brown (Meier); her former spouse Harley Albert Specht; her sisters, Helen Sims of Moline and Dorothy Newlon of Prophetstown; her granddaughter Stacie Leigh Specht; and her great grandchild Michael Dominic Minneart.
She is survived by: her children, Alan Specht (Linda) of Princeton, Robert Specht (Judy) of Geneseo, David Specht (Diana) of Plainfield, IL, Dennis Specht (Sally) of Princeton, Andrea Rosenow of Columbia, TN and Debra Rodseth (Kevin) of Big Lake, MN; and her husband Bait Shop. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren.
