It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thella Meredith Begner of Princeville, Illinois, born in Granite City, Illinois, who passed away on April 3, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Luther Ray and Gladys; her husband Louis C. "Fuzz" Begner; her son Gerald "Pete" Begner; her granddaughters, Michelle Dickerson-Connolly and Samantha Begner; her siblings, Caroline, Almetta, Luther Jr., Adrian, Joe, Frankie and Danny; and her children-in-law, Tom Presseller and Jeanne Conway.

She is survived by : her children, Gale Linder of Princeville, IL, Mack Conway (Clara) of Wyoming, IL, Dianna Presseller of Chillicothe, IL, Ben Conway of Gainesville, FL., Terry Bohm (Matt) of Chillicothe, IL, Kevin Conway of Princeville, IL., Bonnie Christner (Todd) of Crothersville, IN, Reba Wathern (Rick) of East Peoria, IL, Vaughn "Butch" Begner of Princeville, IL, Alesia Bohannan (Dennis) of Princeville, IL and Thomas Begner of Columbus, IN.. She is also survived by 38 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren.

“In loving memory of Thella Meredith Begner, Aunt Thella You will always have a special place in my heart. Thank you for the best childhood memories a kid could ask for. Your house was full of cousins that we absolutely loved to come & see. Through all the chaos of kids, you, Fuzz, mom & dad would fill the kitchen with laughter & the smell of coffee. It was the Best of Times. Rest in peace Aunt Thella. Will always hold the love you shared close to my heart & your laughter in my memories.”
