He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Verbeck and Clara Verbeck; his brothers, Leroy Jr., John and Dale Verbeck; and his niece Tammy Cathelyn.
He is survived by: his daughter Darcey Lloyd (Matt) of Oconomowoc, WI; his grandchildren, Emma, Ethan and Ellie Lloyd; and his siblings, Dwaine Verbeck (Laura), Don Verbeck (Lonna), Dennis Verbeck (Jodi), Dean Verbeck (Tammy), Rose Moller of Colona, Lena VanHyfte (Richard) of Annawan, Doreen DeRew (Mike) of Geneseo and Bonnie Vandersnick (Terry) of Geneseo. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Vandemore Funeral Home - Geneseo (580 E Ogden Ave, Geneseo, IL 61254). A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Atkinson Fire Department or the Antique Engine and Tractor Association.
