It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Eugene Petersen (Prophetstown, Illinois), who passed away on August 22, 2021, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Warren Petersen (Ida Marie Burkamper); his brother Russel Paul; his stepparents, Anne Petersen and Richard Burkamper; his grandparents, Russel, Theresa Petersen, Gladys and Elmer Workman; his uncle Randy Workman; and his cousin Randy.
He is survived by: his wife Sally Fischbach; his grandchildren, Mariah and Kaiden; his mother Ida Marie Burkamper; his children, Skyler Paul Petersen and Hannah Mariah Petersen; his siblings, Beth Petersen (Tim Noel) and Corey Petersen (Lorrie); his siblings' children, Dillon and Brayden; his brother Rick Burkamper (Laura); his siblings' children, Alex (Amanda) and Kaitlyn Burkamper; and his stepsiblings, Juli, Susan, Pat and Gary.
