He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Edgar Crossman and Janet Crossman; his wife Karen Pifke; his daughters, Tracy Bowers (Greg) of Waterloo, WI and Angela Crossman (Casey Capps) of Prophetstown; his stepchildren, Michelle Duke (Paul) of Plainfield, IL, Andrea Lewey (Scott) of Sycamore, Timothy Asta (Donna) of Oak Brook and Kenneth Asta (Lindsay) of Bettendorf, IA; his grandchildren, Brooke, Dyllan, Isabelle, Kathryn, Preston, Madison, Megan, Jenna, Lauren, Steven, Landon, Carter, Riley and Hailey; and his great grandchildren, Martel Jr., Mariah, Charlotte, Brody and Everleigh.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to Alzheimer's and Parkinson Research.
