She was predeceased by: her parents, Viola Bryant-Leonard and Eddie James Leonard; and her siblings, Revalee Leonard, Bernadine Barbee, Eddie Mae Leonard, Leroy Adams, James Adams, Jessie Adams and Bernard Leonard.
She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Gause of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; her sisters, Elizabeth Arnold of Sandusky, Odessa Ballard (Edward) of Pulaski and Jerlean Cherry of Tamms, Illinois; and her grandchildren, Lynette Muse of Memphis, Ebony Banks of Decatur, Rochelle Martin (Fred) of Cape Girardeau and Arthur Banks III of Villa Ridge, Illinois. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
