She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Brugman and Mariam Brugman (Barnett); her husband Charles Mettler; and her siblings, Mike Brugman and Cassandra Brugman.
She is survived by: her children, Robert R. Roman (Sarah) of Quincy, Mikel A. Roman (Sara) of St. Louis and Angela R. Potter (Randy) of Breckenridge, CO; her grandchildren, Heather Roman, Andrew Roman, Audrey Roman, Ryan McNay, Courtney McNay Young (Durkin), Alex McNay (Abbie Blickhan), Claire Reed Leapley (Kody), Justin Reed (Chelsea) and Taylor Reed Janus; and her great grandchildren, Charlotte "Charlie" Reed, Chase Reed, Blakely Young, Sloane Young, Graeson Leapley, Kohen Leapley, William Roman, Roman Flesner, Leon Prater, Lawson Janus and Palmer Janus.
