She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Laney and Docia Laney (Mahuran); her husband Wayne Gorman; and her brothers, Vencent Laney (Helen), Max Laney (Mary) and Jimmie Laney (Lucille).
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Gorman (Barbara) of Quincy and Carol Alster (Gregory) of Morton, Illinois.; her grandchildren, Brett Gorman (Deborah), Wendy Koontz (Timothy), Lane Alster (Hope), Lance Alster (Margaret), Leah Alster and Richard Alster (Andrea); and her great grandchildren, Megan O'Connor (Jackson), Madelyn Dean (Matthew), Alice Gorman, Katherine Gorman, Anne Gorman, Madelyn Alster, Thomas Alster, Chloe Alster, Mina Alster, Isla Alster and Cruz Thompson.
Because of the pandemic there will be no visitation or services in Quincy.
