He was predeceased by : his parents, O. F. Bond and Lorene Bond (Clark); his grandchildren, Sybria Dawn Durham and Andrew "Andy" Heath; and his brothers, Cleve, Cletus "Doc" and Doug Bond.

He is survived by : his wife Sandy Bond (Heath) of Ridgway; his daughter Rony Lynn Watkins (Billy Nix) of Gulf Shores, AL; and his siblings, Clark Bond, Carl Bond (Linda) and Joyce Bond. He is also survived by Many nieces and nephews.
