He was predeceased by : his parents, Harry Drone and Lena Drone (Koester); and his brothers, Jim, Donald (Jake) and Ben.

He is survived by : his spouse O'Leary of VIrginia; his grandchildren, Ryan Kaufman (Milissa), Alex Kaufman (Trami), Katie Hisey (Mike), Shanon Drone (Grace), Luke Drone, Erin Hoffman (Alex), Keith Drone (Jennifer), Matt Drone (Misti) and Kelly Drone (Jacob); and his siblings, John Drone (Cindy), Agnes Mitchell and Paulette Morse.

Memorial contributions can be made to the St. Joseph Cemetery in his memory.
