It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juanita Barnes in Riverside, Illinois, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on December 1, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elton Bachman and Eleanor Bachman (Nauman). She is survived by: her husband Raoul "Leon" Barnes; her children, Kimberly McCormick (James) of Manteno and Timothy (Rika) of Nagoya, Japan; her grandchildren, Connor McCormick, Carter McCormick and Kye Barnes; and her siblings, Colette Sniff (Don), Jean McKinley (Bill), Judy Damgaard (Lyle), Karen Cairns, Mary Szelag (Bill), Doug (Marian) and Joe Bachman (Jenny).
Memorial donations may be given to St. Jude's Hospital or Catholic Charities, as these were charities she had always donated to.
