He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Elias Knapp and Loida Knapp (Steiner); his former life partner Bernice Bauman; his wife Bernie Knapp of Roanoke; his daughters, Lynn Getz (John) of Eureka, Janet Leman (Ben) of Congerville and Julie Schumacher (Dave) of Eureka; his sister Carrie Lou Hartman of Congerville; his son Stanley; his granddaughter Leigh; and his brother Glenn. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
Social distancing guidelines will be observed during the funeral service and masks are required.
Memorials may be made to Roanoke Apostolic Christian Nursing Home or Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
