She was predeceased by: her daughter Glenda; and her great grandchild Andrew. She is survived by: her husband Albert James Higgins; her children, Gary Higgins (Heather), Gertrude Hardy (Randy) and Garfield Higgins (Jean); her grandchildren, Gina (Stephen), Ian (Stephanie), Laura (Blake), Christopher (Sara), James (Allison), Myung-Sung (Jenny) and Ryan (Lindsey); and her great grandchildren, Daniel, Aaron, Lucas, Robin, Liam, Aalyiah, Aurora, Tyler, Jacob, Alexis, Nathan, Rachel and Amelia.

In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in her loving memory to Daffodil Place.
