He was predeceased by: his parents, George M Baker and Frances Baker (Faught); his former wife Greta Jean Smith; his wife Gretta Jean Baker; his sister Greer Raydean Garson Baker; his stepdaughter Jamie Sawyer; and his stepgranddaughter Amber Seals.
He is survived by: his former wife Deanna Sawyer (Dorney); his children, Gregory Don Baker and Tambree Krouse; his stepchildren, Angela, Jeff Yardley of Carlyle and Todd Sawyer of Robinson; his grandchildren, Emily, Elizabeth, James, Kaitlyn Krouse, Quentin, Olivia and Kelen Baker; and his stepgrandchildren, Susan D. Seals, Levi Seals, Titas Seals and William A. Hall Jr. Preceding.
Memorial contributions may be made to any of the volunteer fire departments in Wabash County, IL in memory of Donald W. "Don" Baker.
