He is survived by: his sister Janet McDowell (Donna); his children, Lyndal and Dedra Thompson; and his grandchildren, Bradley, Ashley Thompson, Daylen, Kasey Stoutin, Mitchell, Jackey Stoutin and Erin. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and close long term friends.
