It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ted Stone (Robinson, Illinois), born in Sainte Marie, Illinois, who passed away on June 23, 2019, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hamer Stone and Martha Stone (Faltemier); his wife Margie McDaniel; and his siblings, Shirley Kraus, Bill Stone, Edward "Bud" Stone and Patrick "Pat" Stone.
He is survived by: his sons, Blake Stone of Joliet, IL and Justin (Erin Stone) of Chicago, IL; his grandchildren, Kelsie Stone of Palatine, IL, Caeleigh Stone of Palatine, IL, Alice Stone of Chicago, IL and Cora Stone of Chicago, IL; his brother Ken; his sister-in-law Jan Stone (TX); his sister Mary; and his brother-in-law Gerry Weber (CA). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In honor of the countless hours Ted and Margie spent at the Babe Ruth field, memorials may be made to the "Robinson City Parks & Recreation Department-Care of Babe Ruth Field Renovations".
