She was predeceased by: her parents, George Murphy and Frances Murphy (Decker); and her sisters, Judy Platts, Marilyn Naab and Darlene Ackerman.
She is survived by: her husband Ron; her children, Cynthia Gehn (Jim), Daniel DeMeyer (Laurie), Scott DeMeyer (Rhonda) and Robert DeMeyer (Clarissa); her grandchildren, Stephanie Carmichael, Alysia Gehn, Megan DeMeyer, Matthew DeMeyer, Mackenzie DeMeyer and Gabriella DeMeyer; her stepgrandchildren, Rachel, Amanda and Jeremiah; her great grandchild Marcelo; and her brother Larry Murphy (Linda).
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church - Moline (1307 17th Ave, Moline, IL 61265). A rosary will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Sacred Heart Church or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
