We are sad to announce that on October 16, 2025, at the age of 32, Jebawnyon Geadeyan (Rock Island, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Jebawnyon departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Jebawnyon. Though Jebawnyon may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He is survived by: his mother Nancy Soko Gaye; his stepfather Richard Gaye; his father Siah Geadeyan; and his siblings, Monyon, Shandon, Ransen, Daslah Geadeyan and Richard Gaye. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 4:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory - Rock Island (3030 7th Ave, Rock Island, IL 61201). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
