She is survived by: her significant other Walter Elbers; her daughter Connie Kappas; her nephews, Guljahan (Koo), Amako and Yuki; her great-nephew Edgar; her great-nieces, Paulina (Joe) and Isabel; her nephews, Koffi "Sessy" and Abby; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ida, Dane and Frances.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. (3030 7th Ave, Rock Island, IL 61201). A prayer was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 6:30 PM and on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. George Greek Orthodox Church (2930 31st Ave, Rock Island, IL 61201).
