He is survived by: his wife Roopa Sudha Karamadai Raghavan; his sons, Gopikrishna Sathyamurthy (Ranjani Gopikrishna), Prasanna Venkatesh and Chennai; his parents-in-law, Venkatesan Srinivasan and Anuradha Venkatesan; and his siblings, Santhanam Ramasamy and Revathi Vasudevan.
