It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara E. Taylor-Jones (Rockford, Illinois), who passed away on February 2, 2020, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her brother Ernest L. Taylor Jr.; and her niece Chaznee Taylor. She is survived by: her parents, Ernest L. Taylor Sr. (Thelma) and Ella Mae Taylor (Renard); her children, Tominka Adkins, Monica Taylor and Omar Jones; her stepsons, Cornelius Jones Jr. and Sedrick Jones; her grandchildren, Ariel Taylor Sago, Mikieon Jones, Robert Jones, Torry Allen and Charizma Adkins; her godson Marcus Griffith; her siblings, Debra Dewalt (John), Brenda Taylor, Yalanda 'Kay Taylor, Wesley Black, Darryl Taylor, Eric Taylor and Derek Taylor (Noami); her nephew Tory Taylor; and her close friends, Bevlyn Weston and Lucy Powell. She is also survived by nieces and nephew, other relatives and friends.
