It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janina Zabinski (Rockford, Illinois), born in Radom, Illinois, who passed away on October 8, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Julian Lewandowski and Bronislawa Lewandowski (Lipski); and her sister-in-law Stefania Lewandowski. She is survived by : her children, Gerard Zabinski (Sylvia) and Ilona Jacobs (Michael); her grandchildren, Charlie, Sadie Zabinski, Cole (Nina) and Kevin Jacobs; her brothers, Robert and Waldemar "Wojtek" Lewandowski (Wanda); her cousin Donna Ponski; and also Magda.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to OSF Hospice or Noah's Ark Animal Sanctuary in Nina's name.
