It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Owen L. Heinrich of Rockford, Illinois, who passed away on May 24, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip "Doc" Heinrich and Nellie Heinrich (Burgess); and his siblings, Juanita Lockard, Carmel Thomas, Helen Belts, Gladys Lunn, Thelma Rhine and Norma Hale.
He is survived by: his wife Lillian Santee; his children, Susanne Armstrong, Cathy Champion, Michael Heinrich and Lisa Jacobson (Gregg); his grandchildren, Brent Armstrong (Natalie), Nicholas Heinrich (Alecia), Emily Salinas (Gabriel) and Matthew Jacobson; his great grandchild Preston Heinrich; his siblings, Opal Alsup and Phillip Heinrich (Sharon); and his brother-in-law Lee King (Mary). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the United General Baptist Church (3126 Marshall St, Rockford, IL 61109). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rockford United General Baptist Church (3126 Marshall St, Rockford, IL 61109).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
