We are sad to announce that on April 7, 2021, at the age of 84, Roberta Rae Modglin of Rockford, Illinois, born in Detroit, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Hamilton and Ada Hamilton (Titus); her daughter Carol Kinkade (Scott); her close friend James Taylor; her sons-in-law, Scott Kinkade and Rob Fisher; and her sister Gayle Merrill.

She is survived by : her daughter Nancy Fisker (Rob) of Waukaska, WI; her grandchildren, Jesse Coulter (Michelle) of Springfield, MO, Jennifer Maddox (Armand DeLeeuw) of Rockford, IL, Billy Maddox of Rockford, IL, Nathan Kinkade of Rockford, IL and Anna Kinkade of Rockford, IL; her great grandchildren, Jordyn, Brendan, Jakob, Jenna, Hunter, Ayden, Asher, Silas, Bohan, Quill and Wyatt; and her close friends, Helen Chirchirillo, Peggy Runkel and Megan Vincent. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 16th 2021 at 1:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home (8800 N Alpine Rd, Machesney Park, IL 61115). A celebration of life was held on Friday, April 16th 2021 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
