He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Franklin Forsythe and Joyce Alice Mary Sutherland; his sister Marlene Schultz; and his child Ryan Forsythe. He is survived by: his sister Jo Ferroli; his children, Patrick Forsythe and Leah Ticknor; his son-in-law Grant; his grandchildren, Reid Ticknor, Conner Forsythe, Landen Forsythe, Brynn Ticknor, Gavin Forsythe and Emerie Ticknor; and his siblings-in-law, Roseann O'Brien, Ken O'Brien, Lou Ferroli and Richard Schulz. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethesda Covenant Church (2101 E State St, Rockford, IL 61104). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Bethesda Church (2101 E State St, Rockford, IL 61104).
