He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Johnson and Marcella Johnson (Papich); and his son Joseph "Joe" Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Valerie; his children, Laurie Miller (Dave), Brad Johnson (Sara) and Hollie Roser (Corey); his grandchildren, Morgan, Caity, Maggie, Nolan, Blake, Paisley, Carter, Logan and StellaGrace; his brothers, Terry Johnson (Pat) and Fred Johnson (Judy); and his brother-in-law J. Daniel Hughes.

Memorial contributions can be made to the family or Serenity Hospice.
