He is survived by : his children, Joe Capizzano, Rae Ann Capizzano (Ed Lipinski) and Mary Capizzano (Glenn Cristofaro); his grandchildren, Sean Capizzano, Jeannie Kipper (Drew) and Melissa Lambkins (Kevin); his great grandchildren, Gabe, Alyjha, Mya and Jayden; and his siblings, Nick Capizzano (late Dolores), Anna Rizzo (Mickey), Rose Marie Iniquez (Raymond), Joseph Capizzano Jr. (Rose), Frank Capizzano (Lillian), Lucille Capizzano and George Capizzano. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
